Deepti Sharma is an Indian women's cricket player who was born on August 24, 1997, in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She is an all-rounder, known for her left-handed batting and off-spin bowling.
Deepti Sharma started playing cricket at the age of nine and made her debut for the Uttar Pradesh state team in 2012 at the age of 15. She made her debut for the Indian women's cricket team in 2014 in a One Day International (ODI) match against South Africa.
In 2017, Deepti Sharma made headlines when she scored 188 runs in a One Day International match against Ireland, which was the second-highest score by a woman cricketer in ODIs at that time. She also broke the record for the highest individual score in women's cricket for India.
Apart from her batting skills, Deepti Sharma is also an effective off-spinner. She has taken numerous wickets for the Indian women's cricket team and has been an important player in their victories. She was also a part of the Indian team that reached the final of the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup.
