Here's a recipe for making classic chocolate chip cookies:
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and stir until everything is well combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, leaving a few inches between each cookie.
Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown around the edges.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your homemade chocolate chip cookies!
Note: You can adjust the amount of chocolate chips to your preference, and you can also add nuts or other mix-ins if desired.
