Shahid Kapoor's intense look in the first glimpse of his upcoming film Bloody Daddy has left a strong impression. Co-starring Diana Penty and Ronit Roy, the film has already created a buzz among fans.
Shahid Kapoor has unveiled the official first look poster for his upcoming film "Bloody Daddy." The actor shared the intense poster on social media on Wednesday, revealing that the film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and also stars Diana Penty and Ronit Roy.
Bloody Daddy is an official adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche and will mark the first collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and director Ali Abbas Zafar. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Zafar said that the film will be reworked from the original French version and will be released on an OTT platform. Zafar added that he's most excited for audiences to see Kapoor in an out-and-out action genre for the first time. He described the movie as a cool contemporary action film with a beautiful story, but also a commercial pot-boiler.
The poster of Bloody Daddy has generated a lot of excitement among fans, who have flooded the comments section with fire emoticons. Several fans expressed their anticipation for the film's release, with one comment saying they "can't wait," and another stating their excitement after seeing Farzi. Some fans also compared Shahid's intense look in the poster with that of John Wick, while others expressed hopes that Bloody Daddy would not be a mere copy of the popular action franchise.
Shahid's last appearance was in the web series Farzi, directed by Raj and DK. Farzi featured an ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Amol Palekar, and marked the digital debut of both Shahid and Vijay. The crime thriller was exclusively available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
